Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will share our values and passion for serving patients with dignity and compassion. You will work closely with our providers and staff to deliver high-quality primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan—from newborns to the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients; obtain and document vital signs, patient history, and chief complaints
- Assist with procedures and clinical tasks, including EKGs, immunizations, and point-of-care testing
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed, in compliance with clinical guidelines
- Provide support during patient visits; serve as a chaperone when needed
- Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and coordination of care as needed
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and clinical team members
- Maintain professional conduct consistent with the mission and values of Holy Family Catholic Clinic
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in family medicine or pediatrics
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Commitment to the mission and values of Holy Family Catholic Clinic
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as you will be primarily working with a bilingual provider)
- Familiarity with immunization schedules and pediatric care
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekends or holidays
- Hourly wage based on experience
