MEET OUR PROVIDERS

Michael Sherman, MD, PhD, is one of three co-founders of Holy Family Catholic Clinic. Creating the most pleasant patient experience possible by delivering superior medical care and outstanding customer service is the driving force behind Dr. Michael Sherman’s practice. “Medicine has been a natural culmination of my science training as a Ph.D. Chemist and living out my faith by serving the patients within my community.” His board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics allow Dr. Sherman to be a specialist for both adults and children. Dr. Sherman loves spending time with his family and church community, and he enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, mountain climbing, boating and fishing. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE for Medical School and Residency. He has lived and practiced medicine in the Corvallis area since 2003.

Andrew Tistadt, PA-C is a family medicine physician associate with nearly two decades of experience caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. An Oregon native, he has spent most of his career serving families in community health settings, where he is known for taking time to listen carefully and building long-term relationships with his patients. Over the course of his career, he has cared for thousands of patients throughout northwest Oregon.
Andrew graduated from Pacific University’s Physician Assistant program in 2006. Earlier in his career, he spent a year teaching English in Ecuador, an experience that deepened his love of the Spanish language and shaped his commitment to culturally attentive, compassionate care.
In clinical practice, Andrew enjoys the wide scope of family medicine. His professional interests include preventive care, pediatrics, dermatology, and women’s health. He performs a variety of in-office procedures and works closely with patients to help them understand their conditions and feel confident in their treatment plans.
Andrew believes the most important part of medicine is the relationship between patient and provider. He strives to create an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing any health concern. His Catholic faith strongly influences his approach to medicine, emphasizing the dignity of every person, compassionate service, and care for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.
He is grateful to practice in a setting that reflects these values. Outside of clinic, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and their three sons, hiking in the mountains, attending baseball practice, playing piano, and starting each morning with a carefully crafted pour-over coffee.

Liz Musich is a FertilityCare Practitioner- someone who teaches the Creighton method of cycle tracking. Cycle tracking is for any woman having cycles regardless of her age or state in life. Couples can use it for Natural Family Planning to either avoid pregnancy or help achieve pregnancy and women can use it to better understand their biology and to monitor health and fertility.
Creighton is a beautiful method because it not only shows natural times of fertility and infertility in the cycle but also shows many other indications of health or dysfunction in the reproductive system. Issues that may present in charting can then be assessed and treated by NaProTechnology which is a women’s health science that uses restorative practices to address the underlying causes.
